The white finish continues through the pole, while the brushed steel finish of the arcing stem is complemented by brushed steel accents at the base and on the rotary switch for a seamless look. Topping off the lamp is a short drum shade that is as easy on the environment as it is on the eyes. The attractive white fabric shade is made of 100% recycled post-consumer polyester. Operated by a rotary switch located on the stem to easily turn it on or off, the lamp also includes a 5' clear cord.
