What is a Wrapped Coil?
A wrapped coil is a mattress coil that is encased in fabric. Mattress manufacturers individually wrap free-moving springs in independent coil systems to prevent them from entangling with each other. When a person lies down, the coils respond independently, giving the individual custom contoured support. Wrapped coils also cut down motion transfer.
