The Tatum Upholstered Platform Bed is the perfect marriage between fabric upholstery and solid wood accents. The Tatum utilizes a traditional shelter headboard design and makes it feel completely fresh and modern by placing it upon a solid wood base. Choose any of our high grade fabrics and you'll see just how expertly and beautifully the wood base contrasts and complements the upholstery. This is the modern bed that you've been dreaming of. The Tatum is built to order in our downtown Los Angeles factory (Made in the USA!) and it's handcrafted using high end components and materials. The frame is made from solid, kiln-dried Alder wood, the headboard is foam-wrapped for comfort, and the upholstery options are all graded for commercial use (yes that means they're also pet and kid friendly!). This is a true platform bed that features hardwood slats, but it does require a bunkie board as additional mattress support. This contemporary bed is one of the finest designs we've ever offered.
