Roughhewn, solid Acacia wood gives the Allister Collection its distinguished, refined look. The Allister combines artisanal, authentic details with a modern profile and craftsmanship. Each hand-selected plank is sanded, stained, and whitewashed to create an alluring driftwood cast that underscores the active wood grain and gives prominence to the natural saw marks and knots created during the milling process. These solid planks are mounted in a herringbone pattern to a plywood backing board to ensure a tight and secure design. The Allister is a true platform bed that does not require the use of a box spring.
