F.A.Q.

What is best for whitening sheets?

Baking soda and vinegar are the best products to keep your white sheets bright and fresh.

Start by adding half a cup of baking soda to your washing machine with your liquid detergent. Next, add half a cup of white vinegar to the fabric softener dispenser. Wash your sheets in the machine as usual to enjoy sparkling white sheets.

If your white sheets have tough stains, you may need to pre-soak them for the best results. Add half a cup of vinegar to a bucket of hot water. Let the white sheets soak in the solution for at least one hour before washing them.

What thread count is good for sheets?

Quality sheets have a thread count of 300 to 600. These sheets typically have tightly woven strands, which makes them feel luxurious and smooth against your skin. They’re also more durable than sheets with lower thread counts.

Consider your sleeping preferences when comparing thread counts. Sheets on the lower end of the range will feel lighter and cooler. If you easily overheat while sleeping, look for sheets with a 300-thread count. If you prefer cozy and warm sheets, choose ones with a 600-thread count.

When choosing sheets, you should also pay attention to the materials. Look for white sheets made from quality bamboo or cotton for optimal luxury and softness.

How to make your sheets feel like a luxury hotel?

Choosing high-quality sheets will make you feel like you’re sleeping at a 5-star hotel every night.

Invest in cotton sheets with a thread count of 300 to 500. Many luxury hotels have sheets made from Egyptian and Supima cotton. Add a heavy down comforter and a fluffy duvet for extra warmth.

Next, maintain your sheets like a hotel housekeeper. Wash them at least once a week with fresh-smelling laundry detergent. Add baking soda and vinegar as needed to remove stains and odor. After you make your bed, spray the sheets with a wrinkle releaser for a smooth, polished look.
