The speckles suspended throughout the glass interact with light to produce changing visual patterns. Designers Václav Mlynář and Jakub Pollág developed this design in collaboration with CMC Architects for the J&T Bank in Prague, before it entered into standard production. A steel arm extends the spherical crystal from the wall, with the particle-infused body offering textured depth compared to clear glass alternatives. About the Brand Founded in 2012, Bomma is a Czech glassmaking and lighting company based in Prague. With the experience of hundreds of years of glassmaking techniques from East Bohemia, Bomma uses bespoke machinery that allows for precise measuring, melting, and attention to detail.
