About the Brand Founded in 1990 by Peter Bowles, Original BTC is a lighting company rooted in national pride, manufacturing classic and industrial British design for contemporary homes. Encouraging local enterprise, all products are exclusively produced in the UK, utilizing factories in Oxford, Birmingham and Stoke-on-Trent to hand-produce and assemble the fine bone china, aluminum and lighting components used in Original BTC fixtures.
