Ft. Care Our spill-proof washable rugs are designed with a performance fabric coating to make them not only machine washable, but also extra-repellent to stains and messes. When your rug arrives, place it flat in your desired space. No need to worry about matching corners, aligning separate backing layers, or smoothing unsightly bubbles. When the inevitable spill happens, liquid beads up instead of being absorbed into the rug, so you can just promptly wipe away messes with a soft cloth. This allows you to go for longer periods between washing. When it’s time to wash your rug, simply machine wash with cold water using the gentle cycle. Do not use bleach. We recommend line drying or drying without heat on an air-only drying cycle. A low heat iron can be used if needed. To remove any dirt or debris, hand vacuum carefully on the lowest setting and without the beater bar. Use of a rug pad is recommended to provide extra cushion and prevent slipping and sliding.
