Product Description The Sola Pendant from David Trubridge enriches interiors with an intense, intricate interplay of light and shadow. Designed in New Zealand by Trubridge, its spherical structure is composed of slender bamboo plywood segments that interlock into a decorative shell of frond-like extensions. Originating from the Trubridge’s ‘Icarus’ installation shown in Milan in 2010, the piece evokes the myth of flight. The light within projects a vivid, swirling pattern across surrounding surfaces with the drama of solar flares, balancing organic presence with bold, luminous light.
