An oval piece of metal suspended via thin, tough cables holds an inset diffuser of opaline blown glass over dimmable LED lamping. This creates a floating effect for the lamping elements and plate in a dark room, while the light shines down in a bright, encompassing pool, reflected and magnified by the oval plate. About the Brand Started in 1996, Axolight is an Italian lighting company that designs and produces high-end contemporary lighting products. Each piece is handmade in Scorzè, Venice, Italy whether standard or a custom, bespoke piece. In 2018, Axolight launched its first sustainable product made of recycled nylon, glass fiber and aluminum.
