Only 50 inches high, this space-saving low bunk design is great for smaller spaces and safe for younger children. The bottom bed sits only two inches off the floor. Top bunk features tall 14" guardrails, so the bed safely fits standard mattress sizes. Solid, knot-free New Zealand pine wood adds strength and stability. This has a 400-pound resting weight capacity per sleeping surface. Strong plywood slats with metal support bar. Low bunk bed measures 81.5"L X 54.25"W X 50"H with ladder and 81.5"L X 42.5"W X 50"H without. Ideal for low ceilings, measures 50" high with an under-bed height of 31". Designed to accommodate standard twin-size mattress; we recommend a 5" thick mattress not to exceed 8". Plywood slats included; no box spring or bunkie board required. Mattress and bedding not included. Customer assembly is required.
