Light transforms the material, drawing attention to the gathered folds that create a juxtaposition of light and shadow. The resulting effect resembles an abstracted wood grain pattern, contributing light all around the fixture as well as below. The interior shade is left matte white, helping to shed evenly diffused light through the bottom opal diffuser.
