His design features a hand-blown crystal sphere pierced by a light rod that travels through the entire core of the monumental glass body. The mouth-blown crystal is supported by a steel frame, creating what Mlynár describes as hovering between a traditional fixture and a light object. This approach positions the piece at the intersection of sculpture and product design, with illumination emanating from the center of the transparent sphere. About the Brand Founded in 2012, Bomma is a Czech glassmaking and lighting company based in Prague. With the experience of hundreds of years of glassmaking techniques from East Bohemia, Bomma uses bespoke machinery that allows for precise measuring, melting, and attention to detail.
