Vacuum clean regularly using low suction and less pressure. Spot clean only with water and mild soap. Blot spills immediately with a clean, undyed cloth or paper towel. Store rug by rolling the top surface inwards. Wrap the rolled rug up with a cloth for protection. Keep away from abrasive cleaners, sharp objects, open fireplace, direct heat or sunlight. Do not pull loose ends, trim with scissors instead. It is normal for handmade rugs to shed during the first few months of use.
