Originally designed in the late 1930s by Vilhelm Lauritzen in partnership with Louis Poulsen for the construction of the Radiohuset building (the Danish broadcasting house) in Copenhagen, now the Royal Danish Academy of Music. To accommodate modern advances in light technology and energy efficiency, this table lamp has been updated with LED. It features a retro look with a soft, curvy expression. The VL38 is finished in White for the base and shade and Brushed Brass for the stem, making a beautiful combination that is clean yet luxurious at the same time.
