Set the vacuum so that the brush is the farthest away from the rug's surface. Rug sizes 5'x8' and smaller are machine washable, making them ideal for homes with pets, kids and high-traffic areas. For best results, use a standard 4.2+ Cu. Ft. or larger washing machine. Wash separately with cold water and a mild detergent; do not bleach. Do not machine dry. Hang or lay flat to dry. If your rug arrives folded, it may take up to two weeks for any creases to relax. Protect your rug's vibrancy by avoiding direct sunlight.
