Gien Rambouillet Wild Boar Platter

Description

Hand-painted French faience platter in Gien's Rambouillet pattern features an image of a wild boar against a stylized hand-painted woodland background. Marked "Gien France" with a company castle mark used between 1938 and 1960 or between 1960 and 1971. Rambouillet was designed by Jean Bertholle in 1955. This wild boar platter is currently unavailable on the Gien website or in North American stores. Dimensions: 13.5" diameter, 1.25" high or 1.75" high
