Starting with a slender sled-style base of powder-coated steel resting on small glides, it’s precision-bent into curved shapes, extending upward to a curving, single-piece seat of injection-molded plastic. The molding is made from recyclable plastic employed with up to 25% of wood fibers, giving the shell seat an engaging, tactile presence.
