Key Features • Eco-Friendly Product Description The Epic Round Coffee Table, designed by GamFratesi for GUBI, is a sculptural, conceptual furniture piece inspired by the monolithic forms of ancient Greek and Roman architecture. Its name comes from the epic poems of the times these structures were built. GamFratesi was inspired by the 1970s revival of travertine in Southern Europe and today presents the material in a bold form. The tables are created in Italy with a celebration of the stone’s natural veins, texture, and patina. Each table is therefore unique, and with every use new details will be discovered. Epic tables can stand alone or work in cooperation with other Epic pieces, layered in complimentary and contrasting sizes and colors. About the Brand In 2001, Jacob and Sebastian Gubi took over their parent’s furniture business, transforming GUBI in to an internationally recognized design house for lighting, furniture, and accessories. Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, GUBI is a purveyor of timeless and emerging designs, many of which are iconic and can be found in permanent collections around the world.
