Its beveled seat and subtly tapered legs show off the distinctive grain of the oak, a hardwood prized for its durability and resistance to scratches. The black finish heightens the elegance. Care Instructions Varnished wooden items are finished with a protective coating. This finish gives the item its desired colour and offers protection against stains, though even with this extensive treatment, spills should be removed immediately. For regular dusting use a dry cloth. For cleaning, or in case of a spill, use a damp cloth and natural soap. Dry with a soft clean cloth. Do not use abrasive products. We always recommend using coasters, mousepads, or placemats on surfaces as heat and extreme repetitive daily use can damage the finish.
