What is a Corner Guard?
Corner guards are pieces of plastic added to the corners of box-springs. These attachments primarily protect box-springs from being damaged during delivery. Some corner guards provide reinforcement, as well.
Shoppers never need to worry about purchasing corner guards. Manufacturers add the protective coverings to box-springs during production. If corner guards fall off after delivery, they do not need to be replaced. Once a box-spring has made it into the home, corner guards are no longer necessary.
